Portfolios ,& Artist Statements
When it comes to talking about this blog , I combined two separate important things that I should be taking notes of once I finished my time studying University or should start working towards now such as starting to work on my portfolio.
Artist Statement
Currently working mainly in 3D modelling and 2D digital art , Louie (He/Him) is based in Nottingham , currently studying BA Games Art at Nottingham Trent University . Louie is a 2nd year student who works consistently with both 3D and 2D software using separate software's such as Procreate , Maya and ZBrush.
Portfolios
When it comes to the Games Industry and artists trying to take their firsts steps into the industry , artists would use sites such as LinkedIn or Artstation and display their artwork and portfolios as they are able to display all their work for people to view with ease.

Personal Artstation
Whilst working on our itch.io page , it can be seen as a good start with starting out in the games industry or even a personal project however its also a good plan to set up an artstation for either your company that you are running or even just for personal projects which can allow you to be able to reach a further audience and gain more of a follower base and allows more chances for networking between different companies to notice your work and creations.
After creating an itch.io page with our Uncanny Valley group , I decided to create a personal artstation where I can be able to showcase any personal project I would be currently working on either its a 2D character design or a 3D model allowing chances for getting my name out in the industry that I want to work towards whilst at the current moment , nothing has been posted to my artstation later down the line I plan to use my artstation to upload personal projects I've worked on during the current university year.
