Lineless Digital Painting Experiments
Introduction of Lineless Digital Painting
During this week , we started to practice by doing lineless
digital painting where we would take a sketch that we have already done for my
example that includes a Sonic the Hedgehog sketch that I was working on during
the time of the lesson and painting the values that we saw from this drawing .
I started by going from darkest tones to lightest by working in greyscale
starting by adding a harsh grey as the back and slowly going lighter depending
on the areas as for my drawing I wanted to separate light sources from each
side so I started adding lights around sonics gloves and quills and that’s
where the light is shining off whilst the sides of the stomach legs and face
are still primarily the harsher hues of grey due to no light interacting with
these sections of the body
