Orthographics of 3D Assets

Glass Axe


Information - For the Glass Axe for the side view there was a little struggle trying to figure out the scaling when it come to how does the axe blade size connects to the oversized plastic straw.

Heal Machine



Information - With the Heal Machine consisting of two separate pieces , In the Orthographic I made the smaller machine on the left fit inside of the box that the machine of the right is made of to showcase the scale of the different machine as the machine on the left is utilised as a way to scan samples whilst the machine on the right uses information and stats to create a formula.


Infected Rat Enemy


Information - With our Game consisting of a low poly style relating back to the PS2 era of Games and looking over the way enemies were design in that era of having really blocky assets and minimal polys so using different style's I designed a small rat that's infected with shards of plastics with themselves only having a few polys and using minimal polys and having the rat being more sharper edges and not soft features like a rat model that would be utilised in newer releases.



Breakable Door



Information - Whilst working on the orthographics for this model , I was thinking about how to showcase the 2 layers of wood being stacked together to combine to create the door so to make the side view i created the panels as if they were intertwined and stacked together side by side to create the door and with nothing on the backing for support the door would seem really breakable due to only being held together by 2 sets of panels.


Barrel




Information -With the Barrel being created from a simple cylinder shape , I designed the outer rings to have different thickness around the whole edge so I gave the outer rings different edges and different sized wooden sticks around the edge so the model wasn't done in 5 minutes and I was able to able the different types of shapes I would have to use.


Zoo Scene



Information - For this Scene  Orthographic since I wanted it based on a base on a low poly cylinder so trying to create a a side angle that showcases the scene at an angle because I wanted to try and showcase the stands being at an able which I managed to display pretty well.


Armor



Information - With this orthographic , with this final design of the Armor being reworked multiple times I altered the design so its would be two sheets connected by straps which managed to created the orthographic to be more simplistic and still be able to showcase the different thickness of the different pieces of the Armor and have the straps connecting the Armor be showcased as well.
